Luis Armando Jasso has been arrested as the second suspect in an armed robbery case in McAllen. He was taken into custody on June 25 in Alamo, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service. The robbery took place on April 30 at an apartment on North McColl Road, where Jasso and another suspect, Andoni Garcia, allegedly stole Nike Air Force 1 shoes and a Coach watch from a female victim at gunpoint. Garcia had previously surrendered to authorities on May 15 and was charged with aggravated robbery, later released on a $25,000 bond on June 11.

Mexican authorities accuse 'Güero Pink' of being the regional leader of a criminal cell operating in the southern part of the state and of being linked to investigations into kidnappings and homicides in the area. In Escuinapa, Sinaloa, elements of @Defensamx1, @GN_MEXICO_, and @sspsinaloa1 arrested Misael 'N', alias 'Güero Pink', identified as the regional leader of a criminal cell with a presence in southern Sinaloa and connected to investigations into kidnappings and homicides. He was a 'priority target' for military forces due to his role as the plaza chief of Los Chapitos in southern Sinaloa, according to Mexican media. Additionally, in the same municipality, agents arrested Hilario 'N', former director of Public Safety and Municipal Transit of Escuinapa, in an operation where they seized long guns, magazines, cartridges, tactical gear, and drugs. It is currently unknown if the former official is related to the arrested regional leader of Los Chapitos.
