These funds address urgent needs not typically covered by government funding, enabling agencies to enhance their services for survivors. The grants include allocations for infrastructure improvements, prevention programs, and flexible funding for childcare and legal services. Notably, six grants focus on infrastructure projects, while five support prevention initiatives. Among the recipients is the Women Together Foundation in McAllen, which will benefit from this vital funding aimed at combating domestic violence in the state.
