Minor Detained for Alleged Threat on Social Media Against School in Elsa

The incident began Monday night when a post containing a possible threat directed at the educational institution was detected, according to the Elsa Police Department. As a result, a 13-year-old minor was detained following an investigation into a threat shared on social media targeting IDEA Elsa school. Investigators acted promptly and reported that they were able to identify the alleged perpetrator. During the process, the minor was detained without incident and transferred to a juvenile detention center. The Elsa Police Department emphasized that the safety of students, staff, and residents is their top priority and that any type of threat will be taken seriously. They also urged calm, stating that there is no active threat against the school or the community.
