South Texas College's Division of Business, Public Safety and Technology (BPST) is integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its curriculum to prepare students for an AI-driven economy. With 15 departments and 33 faculty members involved, AI is now part of 55 courses. The initiative, led by Erika Guerra, aims to enhance instruction across various programs, including Business Management and Automotive Technology. Faculty are using AI tools to improve learning outcomes while emphasizing that AI will support, not replace, human expertise.
