Empty the Shelters 2026: No-Kill RGV Coalition
· Telemundo McAllen (KTLM)

No-Kill RGV Coalition is a volunteer-run organization based on a network of foster homes that promotes the 'no-kill' philosophy in the Rio Grande Valley. Through adoption programs, community education, support for pet owners, access to veterinary services, and pet food pantries, it works to keep animals out of shelters and in safe, loving homes. The community can support No-Kill RGV Coalition by adopting a pet, offering a foster home, volunteering, or making monetary and in-kind donations. Each adoption and foster home helps reduce animal overpopulation and provides a second chance for pets in need. Monetary contributions fund veterinary care, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, medical treatments, community assistance programs, and emergency rescues. Donations of food, blankets, and supplies help meet the daily needs of pets under the care of the organization and its foster homes. Location: San Juan, TX (830) 580-1370 nkrgvfoster911@gmail.com. Needs List: Monetary donations, dry food for dogs and cats, Tidy Cats clay litter with scent, litter deodorizer, dental treats for dogs, PetSmart gift cards. How to help: By adopting a pet, offering a foster home, donating food or supplies for pets, volunteering, or making monetary donations. Every contribution helps rescue more animals, support families in need of assistance to keep their pets, and promote initiatives that reduce the number of homeless animals in our community.
