HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Better Business Bureau is warning that scammers are impersonating well-known retailers, government agencies, or even law enforcement to obtain personal information.  According to the BBB, the call starts off with the scammer claiming to be from a well-known store or bank, then asking about a purchase the consumer did not make.
