McAllen ISD has partnered with the Texas Department of Agriculture to provide free nutritious meals for children aged 1-18 during the summer of 2026. There will be 59 feeding locations across McAllen, including 38 schools, Boys & Girls Club sites, and worship centers, along with 21 Meals on Wheels sites where school buses deliver meals to designated neighborhoods.
