Homicide investigation underway in Progeso

PROGRESO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Progreso police are investigating the death of a Brownsville man. Progreso police Chief Al Perez said a homicide occurred Friday morning on FM 88, north of Military 281. The Progreso Police Department identified the man as 63-year-old Alexander Valentin Franco of Brownsville. Perez said an autopsy will be conducted on Monday
