STC Program Coordinator Xenia Munoz emphasized the importance of CPR skills in emergencies, stating that having someone trained can significantly impact life-saving efforts. Classes are offered three times a week at various locations in McAllen and the West Campus, with a maximum of 10 students per session. Registration is mandatory via the college's website, and participants will receive certification from the American Heart Association upon completion. The classes are funded by an insurance company.
