I Don't Care If I Go to Jail: Video Reveals Boy Who Shot His Teacher
· Telemundo McAllen (KTLM)
A 6-year-old boy who shot his elementary school teacher in Virginia in 2023 was seen insulting police officers in a recently released body camera video. 'Where's the gun?' asks an officer. 'It's over there,' the boy responds, cursing at the officer. 'If you want a piece of me, come get it all, b***,' the boy said. The video captures the moments following the first grader's shooting of Abigail Zwerner at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News on January 6, 2023. The bullet passed through her hand before striking her chest, where it remains lodged. In a civil trial against the former assistant principal of the school, a doctor testified that removing the bullet would be much more dangerous than leaving it in place.
